Emergency First Aid At Work (EFAW)
This course is ideal for smaller workplaces that prevent few health and safety risks.

First Aid At Work (FAW)
This course covers the practical skills needed by a First Aider in the modern workplace.
Duration: 3 Days
Assessment & Certification: After completing a final assessment successful candidates receive an HSE Approved Certificate valid for 3 years.

First Aid at Work Re-Qualification (FAW Refresher)
The course updates First Aid skills for people who need to renew their statutory First Aid at work certificate and whose expiring certificate is still valid. First Aiders whose certificate have expired for more than 28 days must attend the 3 days First Aid at work course.
Duration: 2 Days
Course Content:
The course includes an update of First Aid knowledge and skills and a revision of workplace requirements.
Annual Refresher Training
The refresher course provides you with an opportunity to practice and update your skills at any time during your 3 year period as a qualified First Aider. The HSE strongly recommend that you attend a refresher session once every year during this 3 year period.
Duration: 3 Hours
Assessment: Continuous assessment by trainer
First Aid for Parents
Would you know what to do in a medical emergency involving your own or other peoples’ children and grandchildren? A bespoke course for parents to learn potentially lifesaving skills for children and grandchildren.
Duration: 6 hours (covered in 3 x 2hr evenings or 2 x 3hr evenings to suit the group)
Assessment: An attendance only course with an attendance certificate issued after the final evening

- Choking
- Serious bleeds
- Anaphylaxis
- Asthma
We also offer additional elements in:
Forestry application (+F)
Would you know what to do in a medical emergency in a high risk setting such as forestry? This unit gives you a better understanding of the risks involved and how to treat any illness or injury sustained in higher risk environments.
Duration: 3.5 hours
Assessment: Continuous assessment by the instructor
