Driver CPC

As a legal requirement to all PCV & LGV drivers who drive professionally a total of 35 hours of Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) training must be undertaken during each 5 year period to achieve the drivers Driver Qualification Card (DQC).

This training is modular training designed to achieve the required number of hours.

Changes to the rules on CPC training in recent years has meant that modules cannot be repeated within a 5 year period, and forklift refreshers are no longer eligible for CPC hours.

Fuel Efficient Driving - PCV & LGV

Health & Safety - PCV & LGV

Loading Safely - LGV Only

Manual Handling - PCV or LGV

Mental Health Awareness - PCV & LGV

Road Traffic Accidents - PCV & LGV

Rules of the Road - PCV & LGV

Safe & Legal LGV Driver - LGV Only

Safe & Legal PCV Driver - PCV Only

Use of Tachographs - PCV & LGV

Wheelchair Safety - PCV Only

Vehicle Roadworthiness - PCV or LGV

Please note we can also offer Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) and Lorry Mounted Crane refresher courses with CPC hours.
