The First Aid at Work (FAW) course is a comprehensive three-day qualification designed for those who have been appointed as workplace first aiders in higher-risk environments or where a more in-depth level of first aid provision is required.

This course equips delegates with the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to deal with a wide range of workplace injuries and medical emergencies. As well as covering life-threatening situations, the course includes the treatment of a variety of illnesses and injuries that may occur in the workplace, ensuring first aiders are fully prepared to respond effectively until emergency services take over.

Suitable for a wide range of industries, including construction, manufacturing, engineering, warehousing, education and office environments, this qualification helps employers meet their workplace first aid responsibilities while creating a safer working environment.

Emergency First Aid at Work + F (EFAW+F)
1 Day

Emergency First Aid at Work +F (EFAW+F) is an enhanced version of the standard Emergency First Aid at Work course. It was developed to meet the additional first aid requirements of people working in forestry, agriculture, arboriculture and other remote or high-risk environments where emergency medical assistance may be delayed.

The course includes everything covered in the standard EFAW qualification, plus additional training on dealing with severe trauma and catastrophic bleeding.

Defibrillator Add On

Our Automated External Defibrillator (AED) course provides delegates with the knowledge and practical skills needed to recognise a cardiac arrest, perform effective CPR and safely operate an AED until the emergency services arrive.

Suitable for workplaces, schools, community groups, sports clubs and anyone who may be required to respond to a medical emergency, this practical course builds confidence in using a defibrillator and managing a casualty in the critical first few minutes of an incident.
