Course Lengths:

Novice course - 5 days (for 3 trainees)

Novice course - 3 days (for 1-2-1 training)

Experienced operators - 3 days (limited experience)

Experienced operators - 2 days (held certificate previously)

Refresher course - 1 day (renewing in-date certificate)

Conversion course - 1 day (from industrial reach truck)

Theory -

Safe operating practices and environmental impacts

Practical -

Pre-use inspections

Parts of a forklift and use of controls

Basic manoeuvring (starting, stopping & turning)

Negotiating confined areas loaded and unloaded

Stacking loads to different heights in working aisles
