Stephen's Story
Stephen grew up on the family farm, and worked on the farm during school holidays. Upon leaving school Stephen went to work on the farm and studied Agriculture. It was at this time Stephen also began instructing for ATB and assessing for City and Guilds NPTC in 1974/5.

During his time on the farm Stephen gained a wealth of experience in operating a wide range of equipment in the MHE category, heavy plant in a farming and contracting context. Having spent a total of nearly 40 years working in this industry has enabled Stephen to gain valuable experience on the equipment he trains on, allowing him to relate easily to real-life situations and scenarios when conducting his courses.

Aside from the above training, Stephen also undertakes First Aid training, using the wealth of experience gained during his time as a First Aider at work, and a range of theoretical and managerial type courses. This level of training and experience enables Stephen to give his trainees a real understanding of the practicalities of giving somebody first aid when they require it and relate to management approaches as well as regulatory compliance.

We at CoLa Training feel this gives Stephen a truly unique ability to train people to a high standard and make sure his trainees are fully prepared for life in the real world.
